Obchodní tiskárni Kolín (OTK) - a print shop based 60 km east of Prague - has recently installed a Gallus EM 410 S nine-color flexographic press, making it the only one of its kind in the Czech Republic.
"This investment is in line with our strategy to continue developing our self-adhesive labels line," says Petr Ryska, CEO of the OTK Group, commenting on the purchase of the new press. The company extensively updated its production facilities for self-adhesive labels in early June, at which time the press was installed.
According to a statement by the company, the Gallus EM 410 S can handle a maximum printing width of 410 mm with a maximum motif length of 660 mm. Its options include combining flexographic printing with further printing and finishing processes in a single pass. Additionally, it can process substrates ranging from paper to various film types and can be operated at a speed of 150 m/m.
Founded in 1879, OTK is based in Kolin, Czech Republic. OTK's product portfolio ranges from flexible packaging and forms to graphic and adhesive labels.
