EFI Jetrion, manufacturer of UV digital inkjet label presses, will conduct an Open House at its manufacturing plant in Ypsilanti, MI, USA, on November 1 and 2. The event will take place between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on both days.
Live demonstrations of the EFI Jetrion 4830 press and the new 4900 system will take place throughout the event. “We offer you valuable presentations, live demos of our label presses in action, customer testimonials, and networking opportunities with your peers and with EFI’s leadership team,” says Sean Skelly, vice president and general manager of EFI’s Jetrion business unit.
The new 4900 press, unveiled at Labelexpo Europe in September, features the five-color Jetrion inkjet press coupled with a laser finishing system. The laser unit, manufactured by the Italian company SEI Laser Converting, features dual lasers and is capable of cutting shapes, slitting and backscoring on a wide range of substrates.
Among the presenters at the Open House will be Skelly and Jason Oliver from EFI, and Brian Rhoades, vice president of Consolidated Products Inc., a Tennessee converting company that has installed the first 4900 system.
