Print United, the inaugural Dscoop EMEA conference, announces another addition to the speaker line-up: Ken Schmidt, brand visionary and communications strategist for Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Print United will be held November 7-9 2012 at the Hotel Arts in Barcelona, Spain. All educational sessions will be presented in English with live translations in French, Italian, German and Spanish.
Schmidt tells a fascinating story of how businesses of any size and scope can succeed by focusing on understanding and harnessing the most basic drivers of human behavior – improve their competitiveness in even the most difficult marketing environments. He challenges his audience to consider what they are willing to do today that is different from what they did yesterday.
In 1985, Schmidt was tasked with restoring Harley-Davidson's image and creating demand for its motorcycles. Within a few years, Harley-Davidson became one of the most visible and frequently reported-on companies in the world, while sales of its motorcycles rocketed upward.
"The road to building a fanatically vocal customer base, creating a passionately loyal corporate culture, and developing leaders who inspire and motivate starts with Schmidt at Print United," says Jon Tolley, conference chairman and managing director at UK-based Prime Group. "The addition of Schmidt to the educational schedule is a great fit for the type of thinking that Dscoop is known for. His previous appearance at the Dscoop 2010 annual conference in North America was a huge hit with Dscoop members, and we expect nothing less in EMEA."
Dscoop EMEA is an independent, not-for-profit member organization, but works closely with executive sponsor HP to provide the education and networking opportunities to reach the universe of HP Indigo customers.
"If you own an HP Indigo press, you'll find value in Print United and year-round with Dscoop EMEA," adds Ronen Zioni, EMEA market development director, Graphics Solutions Business, HP. "The exciting speaker line-up is second only to the business opportunities you will receive with your peers, with third-party solutions providers and with HP."
All HP Indigo customers are invited to join Dscoop and register for Print United. The conference is only open to Dscoop members.
