MPS has announced the order of a press by Grupo Phoenix, which serves the food packaging, food service and disposable consumer product industries. The sale process was led by Denny McGee, president of MPS America.
Grupo Phoenix ordered an MPS EXL-Packaging full servo UV flexo press. The press will be installed in the company’s Arizona location, and will be dedicated to the production of aluminum foil, shrink sleeves and other flexible materials to support its growing North American customer base.
Grupo Phoenix conducts business throughout the Americas with local manufacturing presence in the US, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela. The company’s plant in Virginia includes extrusion and thermoforming operations. The company’s plant in Arizona includes injection molding, printing and die cutting operations. Grupo Phoenix is a Minority Business Enterprise as defined by the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. (NMSDC).
