Heights, a manufacturer of plate processors and associated equipment, has announced that Kelleigh USA Inc. will merge with its subsidiary Heights USA Inc., effective June 1, 2014. The merger will be a significant addition to Heights' flexo operations and depth of market knowledge. Kelleigh will operate from Heights’ existing facility at 1445 Lower Ferry Road in Ewing, NJ.
Founded in the 1970’s, both companies were brought together in the late 1990’s after their acquisition by Global Graphics and worked together until 2002 when they were re-acquired by their original owners to develop & manufacture flexo plate processing equipment.
Leigh Jezorek, president of Kelleigh and Gary Jones, chairman of Heights state:, “We look forward to working together again and combining our resources and many years of experience to develop new products and services for our industry."
In additon, Heights UK has announced a strategic partnership with a now former comptitor, France-based Vianord Engineering.
Michael Millea, director sales & marketing, Group Heights, says: “Our Strategic Partnership with Vianord has now completed Heights product range with the S-Line range of solvent processors being launched this week at IPEX. Heights can now provide plate production solutions in flexo / letterpress from A4 Stacker units through to BP and Incremental 52 wide Lines. Heights & Vianord are a strong team supplying the flexo industry with equipment and knowledge for all applications of platemaking, from exposure to the finished plate.”
