AVT (Advanced Vision Technology Ltd) – the Israel-based manufacturer of automatic inspection, process control, quality assurance and color control for the packaging, label and commercial print markets – was selected as the strategic provider of Landa Digital Printing’s Print and Quality Control Solution. The system will be integrated initially into Landa S10 Nanographic Printing Presses.
The dedicated Print Quality Control Solution will enhance print quality and increase press productivity through nozzle performance and color control. Verification of geometric parameters, such as color-to-color registration, image placement and front-to-back registration, is also included. In addition, the system will monitor data integrity of static and variable content, classify possible print defects and initiate corrective actions. Ultimately, the AVT solution is designed to efficiently support printing process automation and calibration in full synergy with the press controller.
Jaron Lotan, AVT's president and CEO, comments: "We are proud to become Landa's partner for providing an integrated print quality control solution for their game-changing Nanographic Printing press. Together, we will provide their customers with a new level of press automation and quality control for digital printing."
"We see AVT as a strategic vendor due to their technology, know-how and global leadership position in print inspection,” says Nir Zarmi, COO at Landa Digital Printing. “This Print Quality Control Solution is a key component of the Landa presses and will help us to offer our customers a robust digital printing press that meets the mainstream printing needs of folding carton converters and commercial printers."
