Tipografia Mandruzzato has installed a new Gallus TCS 250, which will allow the Italian company to meet all of its customers’ requirements. This modular offset press with direct servo drive is the second press of this type for Mandruzzato and its partners Claudio Mandruzzato and Adriano, Luca and Marco Galante.
As a result of the constant changes in customer requirements – from paper and glue labels to increasingly popular self-adhesive labels – Tipografia Mandruzzato decided to invest in its first Gallus TCS 250 three years ago.
Macchingraf engineers installed the machine in the summer, and it was in full production within two weeks.
This Gallus press was adapted to the precise needs of the production department – and thus to customers' requirements – and was equipped with five offset printing units, a hot foil stamping unit, a flexographic varnishing unit and a dry relief and flatbed diecutting unit.
This press allows Mandruzzato to meet the demand for top-quality short to medium-sized runs (5,000-20,000 copies per run) complete with varying degrees of finishing.
The demand for wine labels produced in screen printing with high ink levels helped fuel the purchase. The new machine consists of a screen printing unit (particularly for opaque white), followed by four offset printing units, a hot foil stamping unit, a flexographic printing unit, a further screen printing unit (for screen printing involving high volumes of ink, Braille etc.) and a flatbed diecutter.
