BOPP film maker Treofan is implementing an integrated, software-based, global innovation management process.
As part of this approach, the company has invested in project management software Sopheon Accolade. A custom-made version has been installed over the past few months and final tests are underway. Staff training is also taking place, and the system is expected to go live in the next couple of weeks.
“Our new, software-based approach will enable us to bring even more innovations to the market in even shorter time,” says Treofan CEO Peter Vanacker. “There is a growing demand globally for sustainable, intelligent solutions in the area of packaging, but also, for example, in electronics. We are convinced there are great opportunities for new technologies, and even new applications of our films.”
