Smartrac invites retailers, brand owners and consumers to Retail’s BIG Show 2015 in New York to explore RFID-based solutions that improve the consumer experience and enable a new era of merchandise visibility. From January 11-13 at booth #1413, the RFID technology producer will showcase its latest RFID and NFC products and demonstrate state-of-the-art use cases implemented with partners across the industry.

One of the focuses will be on product authentication and verification, plus counterfeit protection. Smartrac’s solution features NFC tags and allows manufacturers to authenticate branded goods quickly, easily and cost-efficiently.
End users can also check if branded goods are authentic via a simple smartphone app at the time of purchase. The solution is aimed at four key branding areas: sports collectibles, sports merchandise, luxury goods and consumer goods.
Additional demo areas cover the global traceability of goods and bridging the digital and physical worlds. Both play a pivotal role in improving merchandise visibility and enhancing the consumer experience.
Smart Cosmos, Smartrac’s cloud-based platform, will also play a leading role at the show. Smart Cosmos uses tag IDs to connect merchandise to the digital world and help make the Internet of Everything come alive. Smartrac will highlight related cloud-based services such as Flows, Objects and Profiles, which are available now.
