Paul Lancelle, technical specialist for All Printing Resources, is the 53rd inductee into Flexographic Technical Association’s (FTA) Hall of Fame. He received the honor at Annual Awards Banquet, held in front of hundreds of flexography’s key players and thought leaders on May 3, 2015, in Nashville, TN, USA.
Lancelle is currently the Excellence in Flexography Awards chairman and has contributed articles for FLEXO Magazine, presented at various FTA conferences and events, and served as a chair of the 2003 Annual Forum staged in Salt Lake City, UT, USA.
He has also been an active participant on a number of FTA committees, contributing to a variety of FQC (Flexo Quality Consortium) projects and serving as vice chair of the Supplier Leadership Council. He sat as a member of FTA’s Board of Directors and served as chairman of Foundation of FTA’s Board of Trustees.
His son, Garrett, states, “A heart as big as Lambeau Field, my father lives everyday with a zest for life that is hard not to envy. His dedication to the flexographic industry over the last 30 years has always been inspiring. Equal to that is the love he pours into being a husband, father and grandfather.”
In addition, the FTA named Jennye Scott, VP of creative services at Berry Plastics Corp. and Richard Black, director of digital solutions at All Printing Resources, Inc. (APR), as the recipients of its 2015 President’s Award. The honor is given annually to one or more individuals who understand the philosophy of leadership and who commit to taking on the responsibility of being an industry driver.
In bestowing the awards, FTA president Mark Cisternino praised the two for their unwavering support and tireless efforts that has contributed to the advancement of the flexographic industry and the Association as a whole.
