Trojanlabel, a manufacturer of full color label printers, has announced the availability of a label printer integration kit called the TrojanThree, powered by Memjet's printhead technology.
The TrojanThree is based on the TrojanTwo digital label press and will allow for speeds of up to 60 fpm, at 1600 dpi full color. The integration kit is designed to be leveraged by industry partners to support any type of media, including roll-to-roll, cut sheets, envelopes and even corrugated materials. Key features include the ability to support a wide range of paper-transport systems and third party software via an API provided by Trojan.
"Based on customer feedback on the TrojanTwo, the TrojanThree was specifically designed to alleviate many of the issues in integrating printing into a new or existing product," says Mikkel Wichmann, CEO of Trojanlabel. "We have already seen great response from the mailing industry and from label finishing OEMs seeking to integrate Trojan and Memjet printing into their product offerings. The TrojanThree offers increased efficiency and higher productivity at a highly competitive cost. We are excited to work with industry partners to complete their product solutions and to expand their product offerings together."
"The TrojanThree is a welcome addition to the family of Memjet-powered printers from TrojanLabel," adds Judd Quimby, vice president of business development at Memjet. "Trojanlabel continues to demonstrate industry-wide leadership, providing fast and efficient labeling solutions and now reaching out to engage new partners across a wide range of markets and regions."
The TrojanThree will provide end users with higher quality color printing than legacy printers. Along with easier integration than competing solutions on the market, the TrojanThree will also come with an automatic maintenance station, ink delivery system, 15.6” touch panel, developed firmware and user-friendly software.
