Label & Narrow Web has announced the availability of the first episode of its new podcast series called The Printer’s Edge.
The Printer’s Edge Podcast is especially catered to label printers and converters, with content covering topics that make it easy for listeners to buy, sell or build their printing business. The idea behind the podcast is to provide a forum to answer all of the questions printers may be afraid to ask or don’t know that need to be asked.
Hosted by veteran broadcaster Ken Okel, in each episode, listeners will benefit from the expertise of L&NW columnist Rock LaManna, who has spent decades as a printing business owner as well as a printing business broker and advisor. LaManna is the author of a popular column in Label & Narrow Web called The Bottom Line, where he addresses M&A activity, succession planning, company leadership, manufacturing best practices and more.
The Printer’s Edge Podcast offers simple answers for common problems and challenges. Listeners will be engaged and informed while also being pointed toward additional resources that can help them boost their bottom lines.
“I understand the challenges, opportunities and doubts that printing owners live with – because I’ve been there,” LaManna says. “Our podcast fills a void in the marketplace by providing printers and converters with game changing information and guidance.”
“For some printing business owners, making smart decisions about their future is like watching a caveman trying to create fire,” adds Okel. “They may get a spark or two, but that may not be enough to keep you warm at night. Think of our podcast like it’s information gasoline.”
Steve Katz, editor of L&NW, comments, “Just like the industry that we cover, the world of B2B media is also rapidly evolving. Label & Narrow Web is more than a trade magazine, and we’re continuously coming up with new ways to engage our readers in both print and online. Like videos and slideshows, the podcast medium is another great way to educate and inform the L&NW community. Rock LaManna really knows his stuff, and I’m confident that the podcast listeners will benefit from his expertise.”
