Overlaminate film manufacturer, acpo ltd., has announced the additions two product managers. Anthony Saglimbeni has been named Product Manager for the company's new line of brand protection films, and John Coyne has been appointed Product Manager for acpo's new line of barrier films.
As Product Manager, Saglimbeni will use his expertise from concept to commercialization to identify unmet needs and bring new security and brand protection products to the anti-counterfeiting market. In his new role, he will also oversee compliance and quality initiatives within the brand protection offerings. While new to acpo, Saglimbeni has nearly 15 years’ experience in the brand protection and anti-counterfeiting industry. Prior to joining acpo, he was Security Solutions Specialist at a global ink and chemical company, previously holding the position of Scientist. He has developed anti-counterfeiting solutions for many different brand owners, helping to ensure their reputations and market share.
Saglimbeni received a Bachelor’s Degree in both Biochemistry and Hispanic Studies from Connecticut College. He then earned a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Virginia.
As Product Manager for acpo's new line of barrier films, John Coyne will use his expertise on a variety of barrier film solutions which will help to meet the increasing demand of converters and brand owners for films as a component in laminations to preserve and protect product, as well as extend shelf life. Coyne has nearly thirty years of experience with film, flexible packaging and converting markets.
