The Christmas Bow Label Coca-Cola is a special gravure printed 2 ply reel fed clear metalized OPP label, laminated with special glue, available with or without perforation, and a pull strip to convert the wraparound label into a “bow." This special label was recognized by Eshuis BV, a Constantia Flexibles partner based in the Netherlands.
According to an independent jury, the result is an unusual and different label that is fun to use and to interact with. It is a technically intelligent solution that runs on high-speed lines, and the consumer and the brand offer a playful seasonal value. The German Packaging Award recognizes clever and sustainable solutions for users and consumers alike. The criteria included technical advances, innovative materials, new features, sophisticated designs and sustainability. There were more than 200 entries in 10 different categories.
