Tim Freeman, president of the Printing Industries Alliance, states, “The first Digital Printing Think Tank took place in October 2015. Since then, we have had multiple evolutions at drupa and again at Graph Expo. As digital printing becomes a quarter of all printing, printers want and need an update. They are requesting a format that allows them to make side-by-side comparisons and find out which press should be their next digital purchase."
Freeman adds, “Marty Maloney, our executive VP, will once again put our Digital Printing Think Tank together. Marty is considered a digital printing expert and had been heavily involved in it since its inception in 1993. Marty’s firm was the marketing agency of record for 15 years for one of the industry’s leading digital press manufacturers."
The format will include a panel of digital printing end users cutting across all industry segments, as well as a panel of the industry’s leading vendors. The audience of printers is predicted to exceed the 2015 attendance of well over a hundred. In-room vendor tables will ring the room and be available at lunch and at an end-of-day networking event.
Vendor participation sponsors will be limited and available on a first come basis. Presentation time slots will be assigned according to the vendor’s commitment date. Platinum sponsors and participants of previous PIA events will have preference. Each participation sponsor will have a 15 minute presentation slot, a spot on a panel, guest passes for personnel, as well as customers and prospects and an in-room table-top display table. Sponsors will receive recognition through event PR, literature and signage.
To become a vendor participation sponsor and to receive a presentation time slot, contact Marty Maloney at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 203-912-0804.
To register to attend the event, contact KimTuzzo at email@example.com, or call 716-691-3211. Registrations will cost $109 and include continental breakfast, lunch, all day coffee and refreshments, as well as the end-of-day networking event.
It is predicted that digital printing, which launched in 1993 and is currently more than 20% of all printing, will become 50% of all printing by 2030. Interactivity from the audience will be encouraged and a Q&A session will follow. Panels will be made up of leading marketing executives from digital printing vendors as well as consultants. They will discuss how they provide press owners guidance in marketing digital printing and assistance in growing the market. A combination of highly experienced speakers and actual printer experiences will provide printers with the information they need to navigate the very fast evolving and growing digital printing market.
