Live ink mixing and color matchings showcased first-hand the benefits of its UV flexo PureTone ink system and proved to be very popular with 36 live demonstrations performed throughout the show period. The company’s highly resistant PureFinish UV flexo digital gloss varnish for overprinting digital inks, verified by the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) as part of the HP Overprint Varnish Performance Program, was also running on AB Graphic International’s Digicon machine on the HP stand.
“We had a great show thanks to the excellent support from our Thai partner, Press Systems Group," says George Lyle. "It was exceptionally busy throughout the whole three days with a constant stream of visitors. Many high-quality business leads were generated, and we welcomed visitors from many countries, including Australia, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey. Southeast Asia is an important strategic market for us so we welcome this show being added to the Labelexpo Global Series of events and look forward to coming back to Bangkok in 2020.”
Other ink and varnish solutions were also presented at the show, including: PureScreen, a concept for blending UV screen inks, tactile effect varnishes and company’s food packaging compliant range – all formulated specifically for narrow web label printing and packaging applications.
Sarah Harriman, marketing communications manager, Pulse Roll Label Products Ltd, adds, “The Labelexpo team continues to provide a series of well-organized events for the label market. As a narrow web specialist, Labelexpo, with this focused approach, continues to be an important show for us and provides an excellent platform to showcase our products and innovative solutions for the industry. The inaugural Labelexpo Southeast Asia was a clear success for us and all our regional partners who attended. Thanks to the support from Press Systems Group, we were able to showcase our ink and varnish solutions for narrow web printers to a very targeted regional audience.”
