HawkPoint Technologies, a provider of manufacturing software and full-service IT Management, has announced the promotion of Scott Tornio to president. He will oversee all aspects of HawkPoint’s business and will work with Troy Dunsirn, owner and CEO, to ensure company growth and customer service standards are met.
“Scott has a track record for success and a genuine focus on customer service. HawkPoint is celebrating our 15-year anniversary in 2018, and we are excited to see what the future holds with Scott’s leadership," says Dunsirn.
Tornio joined HawkPoint in 2013 and quickly implemented business processes and customer service standards that would become the foundation for HawkPoint’s success. As IT director, Tornio redesigned HawkPoint’s IT services division, which currently provides all levels of IT help desk, managed services and technology consulting to businesses nationwide. In 2016, Tornio was promoted to vice president and applied the same customer focus and quality standards to HawkPoint’s manufacturing applications.
HawkPoint’s shop floor software was designed specifically for the paper converting industry, drawing upon the experience of Troy’s father (Duane Dunsirn, Dunsirn Industries) and grandfather (Bob Dunsirn, Mid-America Tag & Label). HawkPoint’s shop floor solution is now available for multiple industries, from flexo-graphic printing to discrete manufacturing and is accompanied by a full-scale MRP suite and reporting dashboard.
