Co-located exhibitions ICE USA and InPrint USA have announced the support of the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) as an association partner for the upcoming exhibitions. The partnership will connect manufacturers of bags, pouches, labels, liners, wraps, and other flexible packaging products to leading converting technology and industrial print providers at the event, taking place April 9-11, 2019 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville.
“The flexible packaging industry is a key market for both ICE and InPrint exhibitors, and our partnership with FPA helps us create a one-stop shop for packaging professionals looking for the latest in both converting and digital print technologies,” says Melissa Magestro, EVP of Mack Brooks Exhibitions.
Packaging is a large industry with multiple segments, including folding cartons, corrugated, labels, and direct-to-shape, and makes up a large part of the audience at the co-located shows. According to a 2017 Market Report from I.T. Strategies, flexible packaging was found to be the most appealing application with the use of digital inkjet technology at 50%.
The partnership with FPA will allow attendees of both shows to cross-educate themselves on the latest in the converting industry, as well as print technology for flexible packaging. The Flexible Packaging Pavilion on the show floor will feature FPA members and be a key focus area for attendees looking for flexible packaging innovations and solutions.
