All Printing Resources (APR) has announced it will hold a two-and-a-half day advanced seminar for attendees looking to take their knowledge of the flexo print process to the next level. The Advanced Flexo Best Practices Seminar will be held at APR's Glendale Heights, IL Technology Center April 23-25, 2019. The seminar is open to all industry converters and suppliers.
One of the most critical offerings a label and flexible packaging vendor brings to their relationships with customers is their ability to deliver consistent print quality. Failure to maintain adequate job-to-job repeatability standards is one of the primary drivers that forces brands and packaging buyers to seek new label and flexible packaging suppliers. APR's Advanced Flexo Best Practices Seminar will show label and flexible packaging converters how to drive and fine tune production efficiencies and increase print quality and job-to-job repeatability levels.
Attendees will learn how running to standards like G7 and enforcing process control procedures enables flexographic converters to have more success with 4-color and 7-color process printing across their application ranges. Catherine Haynes, Technical Training and Resource Specialist at APR, comments, "During the Advanced Flexo Best Practices Seminar we're really going to show converters how to enter that elite level of printing that the majority of companies don't take the time to reach. We will be taking converters through the intricacies of color management, process control and advanced troubleshooting for each step in the flexographic production process."
Seminar sessions include design and prepress conversions, press fingerprinting and characterizations, and process control from prepress into the pressroom. Each day will feature live demonstrations, walking attendees through characterization and fingerprinting, and process control. Attendees will also learn how measurements are utilized for image optimization, proofing and color management.
