Ritrama has launched Shiny, a brand new film in shiny silver metallic polyethylene. The film is suitable for the creation of labels with high visual impact for flexible containers for the personal care, cosmetic and food sectors.
Ritrama's Shiny represents a versatile and cost-effective alternative to traditional and expensive metalized polyethylene films. Labels for cosmetics and beauty products are often characterized by high-end product demands, necessary to obtain rich and decorative labels, vibrant colors and excellent technical performance.
Tested to obtain excellent results with the most common printing techniques and types of inks, Shiny guarantees the same results, in terms of brilliance and gloss, compared to conventional metalized polyethylene films, the company says.
The polyethylene face material, 85μ thick, ensures high conformability, which is an essential characteristic for labeling contoured and squeezable containers, typical of the cosmetics and personal care sectors, which are usually subject to continuous pressure from the user. Being made of polyethylene, Shiny is completely recyclable if applied to containers of the same material, thus facilitating the recycling process of all those supports and containers, of which most objects of daily use are made, such as bottles, trays for food and cans.
