Inland, a third generation family owned packaging and label company, is celebrating the grand opening of the relocation of its Pennsylvania facility on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. The company's Downingtown facility now measures upward of 60,000 square feet and is home to approximately 50 of the 400 individuals employed within Inland's four facilities.
Inland, headquartered in La Crosse WI, is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. In the past five years, Inland has expanded drastically to accommodate growth across multiple packaging formats. The Downingtown facility produces the majority of the company’s pressure sensitive and shrink sleeve label business. Inland’s new facility includes state-of-the-art technology and automation to optimize the plant’s manufacturing efficiencies and capabilities.
"This facility expansion was possible because of the company’s steady growth. The relocation will allow us to better accommodate our customers' needs and the changes within the marketplace," says Kimberly Young, marketing communications specialist. "We are thrilled to invest in this location and the Downingtown community."
