For the new apprentices (13 in Bielefeld and six in Flensburg), they will undergo intensive training. Whether at the large state-of-the-art production machines, in the administration or in the IT of the German manufacturer of coated special papers for the global market, experienced instructors guide and assist with help and advice. To ensure it is not all too much like hard work, the apprentices also enjoy medieval markets, where the traditional art of paper-making is brought to life for interested visitors.
"For us, training young people has been a priority for a long time," says Marcel Bornemann, HR Administrator at the Flensburg plant. "We also look outside the box. For example, coming soon, we have a one day seminar on addiction prevention,' because career and health go hand in hand.”
