INX International Ink Co. is displaying a full range of conventional and digital products, including sustainable and dispensing solutions. INX has also unveiled a new food packaging product.
“Considering the European market conditions and customer expectations, we are very excited to be a part of this year’s Labelexpo Europe,” comments Stefano Rogora, marketing manager EMEA for INX Digital. “As part of a global company, we are able to support our customers for the many different demands this market requires. That’s important because today’s world changes much faster. Customers know our products are safe and reliable, and when it comes to innovation, we have the solutions to keep them ahead of their competition.”
As a premier partner with Technosolutions, INX has launched its next generation Gelflex series of EB flexo inks. Combining Technosolutions’ patented technology with INX’s expertise, INX Gelflex offers low viscosity, high strength, and stability that allows end users to succeed with an electron beam solution well suited for safe food packaging. The inks have reduced VOCs compared to solvent products, the company says, and help minimize concerns with CO2 emission reporting and explosion proofing your facilities.
Labelexpo Europe attendees have the opportunity to talk to INX personnel about their challenges and will learn more about UV/EB products. This includes the INXCure LW series of offset inks cured by LED and HUV, which improves uptime, reduces waste, and lowers press variance. There are advantages with a wide range of INXFlex UV flexo products, including ultra high shrink, High Transfer Label and Low Migration inks for food packaging. A full complement of rotary screen products is available, including whites and tactile coatings.
In addition, INX’s award-winning EB Low Migration product is present at the show. The SGIA 2018 Product of the Year for Digital Inks – Industrial and Packaging, Prodigy EGBA is a premium Electron Beam inkjet ink used in Uteco’s GAIA printer. It offers solid benefits such as strong adhesion to a range of traditional label material and film, with high chemical and scratch resistance. Various inkjet UV LED, water-based and EB inks are being showcased, as well. They are designed to run on a variety of printers with Fujifilm Dimatrix Samba, Kyocera, Ricoh Gen5 and Xaar printheads.
For brand owners and package converters wanting to improve their sustainability goals, INXhrc natural-based inks offer substantial performance benefits. Designed with clean and renewable ingredients, these inks improve production efficiencies, increase ink mileage with less resource consumption and waste generation, and contain fewer chemicals compared to traditional inks, thereby reducing regulatory risk. INXhrc can help reduce a company’s CO2 footprint by 25-30% in comparison to standard aqueous inks.
The HMJ200 Small Batch ink dispenser is also being featured at the INX booth. A suitable choice for the tag and label market, it is fully automated to dispense up to 14 valve stations. Two-stage pulse valves ensure fast dispensing, combined with excellent precision and repeatability. Available for water-based or UV curable inks, it also offers an automated valve cleaning system.
