With new applications, new partnerships and the new advisory tool "Transform," Xeikon is trying to create a buzz at Labelexpo Europe. Showcasing the company’s largest booth yet at this show, the company is demonstrating four different automated production lines. Across the show, Xeikon is participating in the Sustainability Insight Café and the Flexible Packaging Arena.
Filip Weymans, vice president of marketing, states, “At this year’s Labelexpo, Xeikon is announcing new partnerships, new innovations and new online tools. Our new advisory tool, ‘Transform,’ is already taking our customer service offerings to a different level. Digital label printing has become a mainstream technology with many suppliers, and the wealth of choice now available does not make it easy for label converters to choose what is best for their business. This is why Xeikon has created Transform to provide guidance to converters looking to move to digital for the first time or to optimize their existing digital operations. In the development of our new product lines, applications and sophisticated software, Xeikon has anticipated the worldwide consumer demand for experiential products in multiple sectors. At Labelexpo 2019, Xeikon has chosen to demonstrate four different production lines, not only to show the capabilities of digital printing alone but also to highlight the next level of digital print manufacturing, where the digital press can play a crucial part in a mix of processes to ensure a successful business model.”
Xeikon’s participation extends across the show. At the Sustainability Zone, Xeikonis sharing its own initiatives taken throughout the years to address and inspire others. Additionally, the company is demonstrating different label and packaging applications that offer sustainable and economically feasible alternatives to commonly used products.
Flexible Packaging Arena
In the Flexible Packaging Arena, Xeikon is displaying its dry toner technology and its products for flexible packaging and pouch production with complete food safety compliance. Xeikon is also demonstrating its CX500 press combined with an off-line laminator, showing the full production process of creating a flexible packaging laminate using digital print.
Xeikon is also sponsoring the 2019 Label Awards – a gala event where the industry recognizes companies and individuals for their contribution. Awards are given for key innovation, product and technical development, and global recognition. Flint Group is participating in the 2019 Label Academy master classes and will host a session on inks, coating, curing and lamination.
Weymans concludes, “Xeikon is delighted to attend Labelexpo Europe 2019 in its 40th anniversary year. We are immensely proud of Xeikon’s development trajectory in recent years, and it is perfect timing for us to align with the exhibition’s mission to help label printers ‘move their businesses forward."
