Graphic Druck based near Koblenz, Germany, has signed a deal for an AccurioLabel 230 toner label production press on the Konica Minolta stand, C12/C19 in Hall 8 on the first day of the show.
Traditionally printing offset and inkjet, Graphic Druck was looking for a reliable system meeting growing customer needs for shorter-run jobs and quick turnaround times.
Daniel Großnick, owner of Graphic Druck, said: “The AccurioLabel 230 is an extremely important addition to our business to further increase quality as well as save time. It’s important because our vineyard customers, as one example, work very much in 'just in time' mode and they often place an order for labels that needs to be delivered on the next day.”
Edoardo Cotichini, Team Manager Industrial Printing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe, said: “We’ve already had an incredible amount of interest in the AccurioLabel 230 on our stand, which is particularly appealing to mid-volume label printers who print runs up to 1,000 meters. This sale to Graphic Druck confirms that our strategy works and we expect it to be the first of many during Labelexpo. It’s been a great show for us so far.”
