Innovia Films is displaying its extended ranges of BOPP facestock films at Labelexpo Europe. BOPP films offer a positive balance of functionality and environmental impact versus many other plastic materials, the company notes.
Rayoart clear and white BOPP graphic art films are a viable alternative to calendared PVC for outdoor applications up to two years. The range has been extended with thinner BOPP films offering greater than 30% material reductions and with new matte effect materials to further enhance graphic impact and aesthetics. The entire range is ideal for digital printed graphics by UV or Latex ink systems.
Rayoface Reclose92, designed for wet wipe pack applications, is a high clarity monoweb film. Its robustness allows the pack to be easily opened and resealed without losing its stiffness, eliminating the need to laminate several layers together, reducing complexity and resources. Its high clarity maximizes shelf appeal and branding on the printed wipe pack. In conjunction with an all-polyolefin wipe pack construction, it offers easier recycling after use versus alternative mixed material constructions.
Rayoface and Ultrafoil clear squeezable films are also being showcased, offering greater than 40% material reductions versus commonly used thicker polyethylene facestock materials. Their high clarity and printable surfaces offer brand owners eye-catching shelf appeal with fine tones and highly detailed metallic effects.
