All Printing Resources (APR) has announced that the company will hold a one-day regional workshop on Flexo Troubleshooting. The event will take place on February 25 at APR's Glendale Heights, IL, USA Technology Center and headquarters.
The workshop will outline best flexo practices and solutions to improve pressroom efficiencies, and it is the first in a series of regional flexo troubleshooting workshops to be additionally held in Greenville, SC, Vancouver, WA and San Leandro, CA in the coming months. Workshops will also be held in Fayetteville, AR and Houston, TX in the fall, with locations to be announced at a later date.
APR's Flexo Troubleshooting regional workshops are created for personnel who have a base understanding of the fundamentals of the flexo print process and want to gain advanced knowledge of methodologies to optimize and troubleshoot their companies' flexo applications The workshop will include presentations on the tools essential for process control in prepress, platemaking, the ink room and the pressroom. Attendees will discover methods for determining the root causes of common challenges encountered in flexographic printing and how to solve these challenges to take their applications to the next level.
Catherine Haynes, director of training and digital solutions at APR, comments, "Our focus for these regional workshops continues to be to help attendees troubleshoot and determine the root cause for common flexo production and print challenges. We all know that brands and packaging buyers want more complex designs and enhanced graphics. It's essential that flexo converters know how to take their flexo presses to the extremes of what this print process is truly capable of."
