Batsios Labels, a Greek label converter, has installed its first Gallus press to help with the production of self-adhesive labels. The installation marks the third Gallus ECS 340 in Greece within three years.
Batsios Labels reports that the investment has already started paying dividends since its May 2019 installation. The ECS 340 has led to an increase in productivity while widening its use of substrates and colors.
Batsios Labels' Gallus ECS 340 press came equipped with eight flexo and one screen printing unit, plus the included capability of cold-foil embossing. With a printing width of 340mm the conventional label press offers stability, speed and quality and is in use mainly for the printing and converting of self-adhesive labels.
“For six months now, we are getting each day more and more acquainted with the machine," states Andreas Nikoletsopoulos, business development manager at Batsios Labels. “We are delighted to see that our investment is already starting to pay off.”
Batsios Labels was established in 1989 and is based in Thessaloniki, Greece. With about 20 employees and two two printing presses, the label printer and converter offers mainly self-adhesive labels. “Everything runs smoothly and efficiently. We are happy with our new Gallus ESC 340, and we have already started looking for ways to add another Gallus machine to our company," adds Nikoletsopoulos.
