FLAG has been closely tracking the recent outbreak and spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) that has now been confirmed in the United States and Canada. In response to the uncertainty coronavirus is causing for businesses, employees and customers, FLAG has made a host of solutions available to members.
In an effort to support its members, FLAG will be organizing and publishing a list of members that opt-in to participate in a COVID-19 support group. Participation in this group will simply require a commitment to supporting other FLAG members if needed due to potential unforeseen impacts of coronavirus. Participating will allow those members to communicate a plan of action to their customers. FLAG has instituted this contingency plan as a proactive step in preparation.
A new post, titled "Coronavirus Support Group - Member Resource," has been added to the Member Connections area of FLAG's website, located under the "PLAN" section, which will host all participating members and their contact information.
"We recognize the uncertainty that coronavirus is causing for our members and their businesses, their employees and their customers," says JC McKay, VP of business development at FLAG. "To be proactive in supporting our membership, we've organized a member-to-member support group in North America, helping our members communicate a plan of action to their teams and customers."
Those interested in participating in the support group can contact FLAG. Participants may also add their company name and location, point of contact and title, email and phone number to the newly created topic listed on Member Connections.
