Great Lakes Label, a Michigan-based label converter, is remaining open. The company is considered an essential critical infrastructure workforce, therefore it will proceed with full production, running three shifts.
"We’ve been in contact with our raw material suppliers, and the supply chain is currently keeping up with demand," the company says in a statement. "We may experience a day or two longer lead time than usual, however, we have increased purchases in an attempt to stay ahead."
Great Lakes Label's customer service team is fully operational, and the company has increased the cleaning of its building. Its cleaning measures have included an entire fogging, which took place this past Sunday.
"We have postponed personal meetings and visits to our plant, along with business travel," the company adds. "If you need anything, please do not hesitate to call or email. We are committed to offering the very best products and services, and we understand that the situation is fluid and changing daily.
