International Converting Exhibition & Conference USA, a trade event for paper, film and foil converting, has announced fall dates and a location for 2021. The biennial event will take place October 19 - 21, 2021 returning to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Formerly, International Converting Exhibition USA, event organizers revise show name to emphasize education while maintaining core identity.
In a strategic decision that creates greater timing between the spring Munich edition of the event, International Converting Exhibition & Conference USA’s move to Fall will allow manufacturers, providers and buyers an opportunity to attend both events and stay more aware of innovation and best practices throughout the year.
In partnership with bellwether partner, AIMCAL, show management is also dedicated to building and promoting a comprehensive education program in that will equip converting engineers and executives with the tools they need to stay informed and lead in the web-based substrate landscape. “We are very pleased that in cooperation with the Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL), The ICEC USA Technical Conference and AIMCAL Fundamentals course will once again provide industry leading educational content. In addition the Future of Converting Theater on the show floor will showcase the latest technology from our industry partners,” adds Event Director Bob Chiricosta, “ We have even changed the tagline and name of the show to reflect this commitment to the conference, course work, one on one expert meetings and networking that are only provided to the industry at ICEC USA.”
"We are pleased to continue our longstanding relationship with ICEC USA 2021. AIMCAL will once again be offering the AIMCAL Fundamentals seminar for both Slitting & Rewinding and Coating & Drying in Orlando. In addition, AIMCAL will also organize the ICEC USA Technical conference and will host a member’s only pavilion on the show floor,” says Chris Kerscher, AIMCAL Executive Director.
As previously announced, International Converting Exhibition & Conference came under new management as a result of the February 2019 acquisition of Mack Brooks Exhibitions by Reed Exhibitions, a division of RELX. The acquisition has been received positively by both parties who cite delivering customer value and leading innovation as top priorities.
Chet Burchett, CEO of Reed Exhibitions, comments: “For customers, we will be able to add value through capabilities such as our International Sales Group, innovative digital tools and increasingly sophisticated customer matchmaking and buying programs.”
