I.D. Images LLC, a leading national PS label converter based in Brunswick, OH, USA has announced the addition of RevealPrint on-demand color direct thermal label technology to its label portfolio. RevealPrint technology allows users to print variable information in color on direct thermal labels without the use of ink or ribbon.
Unlike traditional direct thermal solutions, RevealPrint labels have color below an opaque, white barrier that is revealed when imaged in a thermal printer. RevealPrint technology helps eliminate costs and improves efficiency in warehousing, shipping, logistics, and other areas of business that would be created by stocking various color pre-printed labels. These labels will not fade or turn yellow over time like a traditional direct thermal label because of their UV resistance. They have premium scuff resistance and are also alcohol tolerant. The technology is free of Leuco Dye, BPA, BPS and Phenol, making it a clean, human and environmentally safe option.
“We are really excited to offer the RevealPrint technology to our customers,” says Tim Mlnarik, director of sales and marketing. “It is an innovative solution unlike any direct thermal technology we have seen in the market. Customers no longer need to order a large batch of pre-printed labels and multiple SKUs. They can use one label for multiple applications to print on-demand color and attract attention to important information quickly.”
