Aztec Label, the Kidderminster, UK-based manufacturer of self-adhesive label and tag products, has acquired a further 4,000 sq ft of operational space as part of ambitious plans for growth.
"This new acquisition takes our total facility footprint to almost 20,000 sq feet,” says Colin Le Gresley, Managing Director of Aztec Label. “I’m delighted we’ve been able to get the deal finalised despite the ongoing pandemic situation, and we’re very excited to begin the extensive refit work on the new premises as we move into the second half of the year.”
The new building is directly adjacent to the Aztec Label headquarters, a fully refurbished, 15,000 sq ft facility in the heart of the West Midlands. “We have enjoyed enormous growth since our first labels rolled off the press in 1993. We are always moving forward, and this latest acquisition will help us continue delivering on our pledge of meeting the demands of any size job for our customers, providing quality products and always on time.”
Colin explained that the work on the additional factory is likely to begin as soon as this summer, with plans to ensure it is brought up to the same high standards as the main premises, which in 2018 underwent a comprehensive £250,000 refurbishment. “There is a lot of work to do,” he said. “Our commitment since day one has been to using top-of the-range modern equipment and facilities across the business, and we are looking forward to revealing our plans for the new space once we have completed the necessary work.
