Coatings & Adhesives Corp. (C&A) has announcesd the development of Corban anti-microbial coatings for use on a wide range of label and packaging applications.
According to Steve Burleson, sales and market segment business manager of label products, “The development of the Corban AM anti-microbial coating technology will add significant value and functionality to customers and brand owners. We are committed to keep customers at the forefront of technology and consumer demand, through the development of new products....such as the Corban Anti-Microbial UV/LED and WB coating line.”
C&A's manufacturing takes place in a modern 100,000-plus square foot facility located in Leland, NC, USA. Finished goods are shipped from this location directly to customers or to one of its many warehouses located throughout the country.
All products undergo a rigid quality check for a variety of physical and end user properties before shipment. Tests are constructed to duplicate conditions the coating or printed surface may encounter using substrates and specifications provided by the customer. Industry standards from Tappi, ASTM, and GATF are incorporated to provide a comprehensive protocol, as well.
