Wausau Coated Products, a manufacturer of pressure sensitive products, label materials and custom coating technologies, has acquired Pennsylvania-based Brandywine Drumlabels.
Brandywine Drumlabels, a sales and distribution company of converted label materials, specializes in providing hazard communication labels and software to a wide array of customers in the chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical markets. Wausau Coated has been a technical and material supplier to Brandywine since the inception of the company.
Ben Reif, Wausau Coated Products president, is excited about the opportunities the acquisition presents to both companies. By joining forces, it will strengthen Wausau Coated’s ability to get application and technical knowledge to Brandywine’s customers.
“Brandywine has the expertise and knowledge to assist our customers with implementation of full color print on-demand platforms,” says Reif. “At the same time, we can use our global footprint and sales and distribution channels to better serve Brandywine’s existing and prospective customers wherever they are in the world.”
“We see our new partnership through an exciting and optimistic lens. Although it will not affect the way we do business with our customers, it will enable us to offer them a broader selection of inkjet label materials and allow our momentum and growth to continue by strengthening our ability to market our products,” says Chris Campbell, Brandywine Drumlabels president and CEO.
Customers of both companies will continue to receive the same quality products and the high level of customer service they have come to expect from Wausau Coated and Brandywine.
