The new hemp-based paper available to Lightning Labels customers is made from the pulp of hemp plants. The breakdown is 50% hemp derivative and 50% post-consumer material. This makes the paper 100% sustainable and an excellent choice for brands that have eco-conscious customer bases. Buyers will be pleased to find that the attractive packages created with the new material are made without a negative environmental impact.

The facestock of the material is smooth on its surface. It possesses an earthy, organic look that should make it popular with brands that have aligned themselves with eco-conscious causes, from food and beverages to home goods and beyond. In a contrast to some recycled label materials, the hemp-based paper is designed with wet strength properties to improve its performance in moisture-rich environments. This increases the variety of applications the paper can be used for.
