Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives, part of The Fedrigoni Group, a global supplier in the production of high value-added special papers for packaging, publishing, and graphics, as well as premium labels and self-adhesive materials, attended Labelexpo Americas for the first time. The company featured new products and services in four areas: wine and spirits, home and personal care, food and beverage and smart labeling.
According to Melissa Harton, marketing manager, North America, “We were thrilled to participate at Labelexpo Americas for the first time under the banner of Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives. We featured new products and services, which are a direct result of the acquisitions over the past two years and the synergies of Acucote, Arconvert, Manter, Ritrama, IP Venus and Tageos. ”
Fedrigoni’s “Art of Luxury” portfolio was featured in the wine portion of the booth. Comprised primarily of FSC-approved papers, these materials are available in elegant textures, diverse colors and provide high-quality performance against wet, cold, ice bucket and humid environments. Coordinating neck labels can elevate the brands of wine and spirits bottles. Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives is introducing a range of prime self-adhesive materials for neck labels, which are low grammage and made from FSC-approved papers. Visitors are also discovering alternate fibers and recycled content in the wine and spirits section of the booth.
A highlight of the home and personal care portion of the booth was the company's Open and Close Wet Wipes – monomaterial self-adhesive solutions that facilitate the recycling process – specifically designed for soft and semi-rigid labels for hand, baby, cosmetic, household and pet wipes. Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives provides a patent that enables semi-rigid Open and Close labels to behave similarly to rigid plastic lids while being more sustainable. Also featured in home and personal care are recycled content films and coupon solutions.
Featured in Food & Beverage was WOff, a Wash Off Adhesive. This water-based formula provides debonding of non-recyclable label materials from PET and glass containers – making them recoverable. Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives is including dissolvable facestocks and coupon solutions for Food & Beverage in this portion of the booth, as well.
Lastly, for smart labeling requirements, Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives debuted Tageos, a comprehensive portfolio of high-performance, premium-quality RFID inlays and tags in UHG (RAIN RFID) and HF (NFC) frequency bands, as well as battery-free RAIN RFID sensor inlays and tags.
