Mark Andy has announced the appointment of Antony Cotton as European sales manager for its range of flexo and digital press technology. Cotton, who is based in the UK, will assume his new position at the beginning of October, and be responsible for the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia markets.
Tom Cavalco, Mark Andy's executive vice president, International Business, comments, “Antony Cotton is well known and respected in the narrow web sector with more than 35 years’ experience, and we are delighted he is joining the Mark Andy Sales Team to help us continue to grow our market share in Europe. To be able to appoint such an experienced manager to support our existing users and develop the market is invaluable in today’s business climate, especially one who can hit the ground running.”
Cotton says, “I am very happy to be joining Mark Andy, which I have always seen as a market leader in the narrow web sector and am keen to get acquainted with my new colleagues and familiarize myself with the latest technology available. I’m really looking forward to the new challenge and getting out to visit Mark Andy’s extensive customer base in Europe.”
This new appointment coincides with the departure of Phil Baldwin from the Mark Andy Sales Team. Cavalco remarks, “I’d like to thank Phil for his hard work and commitment to Mark Andy over the 12 years he has been with us. He has fulfilled many roles within the company and handled them all with great application and success. We all wish him well in his new career."
