Dscoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative) is the largest digital printing user group in the graphic arts industry. The association is an independent community of HP Graphic Solutions business owners and technical professionals who use HP Indigo, Scitex, High-End Latex and PageWide Web Presses. Dscoop San Antonio, which took place April 13-16, 2016 at the city’s Henry Gonzalez Convention Center, was the organization's 11th annual event, and drew more than 2,000 attendees. In addition to a big-name speaker lineup, the Solutions Showcase was a main attraction, with 103 exhibitors presenting their latest products and technologies.
Show organizers called Dscoop San Antonio the “North American drupa,” as drupa, the world’s largest printing industry trade show, takes place just 45 days after Dscoop San Antonio. Thus, many exhibitors opted to launch their newest products and technologies at the Solutions Showcase. The labels and packaging industry was well represented at the 116,000 exhibition, and many of the exhibitors targeting label converters had on display their latest innovations.
