The label and narrow web industry will be gathering at Labelexpo Americas 2024, which will be held September 10-12 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. As always, ink industry leaders are preparing for the three-day show, which gives them the opportunity to showcase their newest products while also meeting with attendees.
In alphabetical order, here are some of the highlights that attendees can expect to see:
ACTEGA (Booth 711) – ACTEGA will be debuting its new ACTKote UV wash-off primer, which is designed to increase the recyclability of shrink sleeves, at Labelexpo Americas. ACTKote UV Wash Off Primer has been recognized by the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) for meeting the highest criteria for recyclability according to the APR Design Guide for Plastics Recyclability.
ACTEGA will also highlight its SafeShield low migration inks and coatings range, overprint varnishes for energy efficient LED-UV printing, and Signite and ECOLEAF.

These include Flint Group’s dual-curing EkoCure ink series, including EkoCure ANCORA, a range of inks approved for food-contact materials, and the new Ultra Clear dual-curing UV coatings.
Xeikon will highlight fleXflow, its stand-up pouch production process; the PX3300HD, the Panther, for high-quality, durable labels at 1200 dpi; the LX3000, the Lion; and Xeikon’s TX500 press, which uses TITON toner for food-safe, durable flexible packaging on paper substrates.

The 46kUV Printbar System is Fujifilm's UV printbar system for label imprinting and adding variable data, including high-quality text and codes, at speeds up to 500 fpm (152 m/m) at 1200 x 600 dpi. The 46kUV is available in 13", 17", and 20" print widths.
INX International (Booth 129) – INX International Ink Co. will have several ink and coating solutions to show attendees at this year show, including Genesis washable inks for shrink label packaging; INXFlex Contour high performance, UV and LED dual cure ink system for shrink sleeves; VerifyInk security ink technology; and XJL UV Curable pigmented digital inks.
