Mactac's operational improvements on display in new VideoBite

Nick Savelieff, vice president of operations, sits down L&NW to discuss Mactac's expansion and how that will benefit customers in the future.

In 2021, Mactac made a big announcement by acquiring Duramark Products Inc., previously known as Ritrama USA. The acquisition consisted of the company’s Minneapolis, MN, and Moore, SC, facilities, including its new coaters and advanced automation technologies.

Both locations were rebranded under the Mactac name, creating one of the largest, most diversified pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) suppliers in North America.

Nick Savelieff, Mactac’s vice president of operations, sat down with L&NW to discuss how the company's expansion will boost the industry well into the future. In his role, Savelieff has helped drive excellence and a culture of continuous improvement across Mactac’s production facilities. He has also been instrumental in building up the company’s Spartanburg, SC facility.
