C&M Conveyor – North Canton, OH, USA – Bloomington, IN, USA – C&M Conveyor has announced that Tony Leckie will replace Mark Boardman as regional sales manager for the Western Territory. In addition, Rob Recker will take over the Eastern Region, including Pennsylvania and Virginia. Michael Korzyniewski will handle the Southern Region, which now incorporates the Gulf States and the southeastern seaboard. Gil Buescher will continue his responsibilities in the Central Region, and Mikah Thorne will continue to represent the company in Eastern Canada.

Epicomm – Alexandria, VA, USA – Gary Pawlaczyk has joined Epicomm as a vice president and member of its Business Advisory Group.
FINAT – The Hague, the Netherlands – The Board of the FINAT Young Manager’s Club (YMC) is planning special events for young managers in the label industry during 2016. The Board consists of Dana Kilarska of Purgina, Slovakia, chairman/treasurer; Rainer Ulrich, of Ulrich Etiketten, Austria, program management; and Christopher Jones of Alphasonics in the UK, marketing.
Gallus – St. Gallen, Switzerland – Karl-Gerhard Amerongen (5) has joined the Gallus Group as head of Digital Sales Europe. He is responsible for the European sales of the new digital printing division at Gallus.
3 Sigma Corp has reported the passing of Grant Beck, owner and friend since 1998. Grant was a long-time leader and entrepreneur in the label and printing industry.
He started his first company, Beck Equipment & Supply Inc., at the age of 20, and also worked for Avery Dennison Fasson for 11 years in sales and management on the West Coast. His entrepreneurial career continued with the acquisition of Baseline Industries in 1980, and from there, his ownership portfolio expanded to include many other companies in addition to 3 Sigma.
Beck was a hands-on owner, active in the management, planning and strategic direction of his companies. He was a both a strong advocate of his employees and a loyal friend and partner to his customers. He and his family made their management teams and associates feel very much a part of their family, as well. He will be sorely missed by many in this industry and even more by those that had the opportunity to work closely with him on a day-to-day basis.

NPES, Reston, VA, USA – NPES president Ralph Nappi has announced his intention to transition out of the organization. The timeline for Nappi’s departure is still being developed but he has agreed to continue for 90 days after the new president is hired.
Platinum Press – Oakland, NJ, USA – Platinum Press has hired Ruben Luviano as production manager at its new packaging facility in Oakland, NJ.
Sappi Alfeld – Alfeld, Germany – Thomas Rajcsanyi has joined Sappi Alfeld as managing director. Rajcsanyi will continue to build upon the current strategy of strengthening the specialty paper business.
Smartrac – Amsterdam, the Netherlands – Gerd Wolfram has joined Smartrac as senior vice president of Systems and Solutions, Business Division Intelligent Things.

TLMI – Gloucester, MA, USA – Mark Tibbetts (13) has been selected as TLMI’s new president, effective January 1, 2016. He is the association’s fourth president in TLMI’s 82-year history. Robert Dillingham, former owner of Hi Tech Printing Company in Fairfield, OH, USA, died following a courageous three year battle with pancreatic cancer on December 14 surrounded by family. Bob had a long history working for several printing companies in North Carolina and Ohio. He is most remembered as an entrepreneur who began Hi Tech Printing Company in 1987.
He was a proud and passionate business owner who took pride in taking care of his employees. Bob was well known in the printing industry and had many friends and coworkers who admired him.
Hi Tech Printing was acquired by I.D. Images, Brunswick, OH, in 2013.
