Dscoop, the HP Graphic Arts user group, kicked off its 10th anniversary at Graph Expo 14. Additionally, Dscoop released its first-ever white paper: Dscoop: 10 Years of Transforming Digital Print, which provides an in-depth look into the organization’s history, achievements and future.
This milestone anniversary will be celebrated with its global community of members and partners at DscoopX, the 10th Dscoop Annual Conference, to be held March 5-7, 2015 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, DC; the 2015 Dscoop EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) Conference in Dublin, Ireland, June 3-5, 2015; and the 2015 APJ Conference (Asia Pacific and Japan) in Tokyo, Japan, September 11-16, 2015.
Founded in 2005 by a small number of Indigo owners, in conjunction with HP, Dscoop has grown to over 8,000 members worldwide. The organization launched in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 2011 and in Asia Pacific and Japan in 2009. To best serve its members, Dscoop has established multiple regional leadership groups as well as a global board of directors.
“Dscoop has seen phenomenal growth and transformation throughout the past ten years. As we move into the next decade, we will focus on the needs of our members, while continuing to evolve our offerings to align with industry demands,” says Gary Peeling, incoming Dscoop global chairman and managing director.
