American Roller buys Plasma Coatings
American Roller Company, Union Grove, WI, has acquired Plasma Coatings Inc., of Waterbury, CT, a manufacturer of thermal and release coatings. In October, American Roller purchased Champion Roller Company of Rock Hill, SC.
Plasma Coatings, established in 1969, is a pioneer of flame-sprayed special surface material coatings for rollers and a variety of other industrial parts. The coatings are primarily applied when non-stick, corrosion resistance and wear resistance properties are required. “The acquisition of Plasma Coatings further expands our product and service offerings to the customers of our combined companies, and it expands American Roller’s geographic presence in North America,” says Chuck Tasch, CEO.
