J&H unveils a new folding carton press
J&H Printing Solutions, Inc., a distributor of flexographic printing and converting equipment, now offers a new servo driven flexo press for the folding carton and mid to wide web paper industries. A joint venture between J&H and the manufacturer of the equipment, Multiflex of Qingzhou, China, has resulted in a servo press line engineered and designed for the North American market. J&H is the exclusive distributor of this press line in North America.
The Multiflex line of presses is available in widths ranging from 16" to 56". Included as standard features are a closed loop tension system, fault diagnosis, touch screen control panel, production data monitoring, auto registration, and sleeved plate cylinders. Options include automatic unwind (butt splicer) and auto rewind.
“The Multiflex line of presses will allow us to compete in a broader section of the flexographic printing market here in North America,” says Mat Jones, president of J&H. “Where until now we have focused mainly on the narrow web label industry, we now have a very attractive offering for wider markets. Our machines will occupy a unique place in the market offering converters a high level of quality, workmanship, and automation, at very competitive prices.”
