Domino Printing Sciences – Cambridge, United Kingdom – Paul Doody (1) has been named the global marketing director at Domino Printing Sciences. He will draw on his experience to define and drive effective marketing campaigns for the coding and marking company. In addition, Nigel Bond, the company’s CEO, has become a member of the Brother executive management team.

Flexible Packaging Association – Annapolis, MD, USA – Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) president and CEO Marla Donahue has announced plans to retire at the end of 2016.

Fortis Solutions Group – Virginia Beach, VA, USA – Fortis has hired William Smith as its chief sales and marketing officer. Prior to joining Fortis, he had spent 14 years in the same position at WS Packaging.

GPA – Chicago, IL, USA – GPA has promoted Mary Ann Geers to the new position of vice president of corporate strategy. In this role, she will serve as the driving force behind GPA’s marketing, product, research and development, and technical teams.

Klockner Pentaplast – Montabaur, Germany – Brent Jones has been named the new CFO, while Peter Heinze will take over as the new COO.

Lightning Labels – Denver, CO, USA – Gary Paulin has been named director of sales and customer service. Paulin has spent nearly 30 years educating business leaders while marketing  a diverse product portfolio.

Mark Andy – St. Louis, MO, USA – Mark Andy Print Products has appointed Chuck Mullins to the position of technical sales representative. He will be responsible for managing the sales and support of pressroom consumables needs for printers and converters in the Ohio Valley region.

Roland DG – Irvine, CA, USA – Hidenori Fujioka (3), previously director and executive vice president of Roland DG, was named representative director, president of the company. David Goward (4), previously director of the company, was promoted to executive vice president, director. In conjunction with the moves, Masahiro Tomioka has stepped aside as president, but he will continue as representative director, chairman of the company. Scott Burgess has been appointed East Coast Imagination Center manager. Mike Gaurino, who recently joined Roland DGA as the company’s new Northeast service account manager, will assist him. Tony Miller has been promoted and will now oversee all of Roland’s regional sales managers for the US region. Grant Davis has been promoted to national sales manager. Matt Owens and Daryl Chaffins have taken over as national account managers.

SPGPrints – Boxmeer, the Netherlands – SPGPrints has appointed Ruy de Lacerda & Ca. S.A. as the agent for its graphics division in Portugal.

tna – Sao Paulo, Brazil – The compamy has promoted Thiago Roriz to the new position of general manager for Latin America.

Treofan – Raunheim, Germany – Luigi Martinese will take over as COO Europe. In addition to Martinese, the newly created European Board includes business unit managers Carolyn Wagner (Packaging and Labels), Nico Schoeman (Tobacco Packaging and Technical Films) and Franz Josef Kruger (Treopore Separators), plus a supply chain manager to be appointed soon.

Wacker – Munich, Germany – Robert Gnann has taken over as president of Wacker Silicones. He succeeds Christian Hartel, who was recently appointed to the executive board.
