The DSI digital UV-inkjet workflow and rotaLEN laser engraving system for screen imaging are being displayed.
In live demonstrations, SPGPrints (Booth 6445) is providing a real-time experience of the simplicity, quality and productivity of its DSI digital UV-inkjet workflow and rotaLEN laser engraving system for screen imaging. With the booth’s while-you-wait demonstration, visitors may have their own files output on one of the devices. Files are accepted in PDF or 1-bit TIFF formats, 100 ppmm / 2540 lpi.

Other highlights include working demonstrations of the 13" (330mm)-wide DSI UV-inkjet press. Key standard features are intermediate inline LED pinning stations and chill drum. Options include up to six extra stations: orange and violet, opaque white with industry-leading 93% optical density, and digital primer. Inks formulated and manufactured by SPGPrints are designed to offer excellent resistance. In addition, rotaLEN, a direct laser engraving system for imaging rotary screens with resolutions up to 4000dpi in one fully digital step, without film, chemicals or water, is on display.
Meanwhile, the variLEX hybrid CtP processor, a digital laser exposing solution for high-definition flexo, dry-offset, screen and letterpress printing forms, has been showcased to Labelexpo Americas visitors. SPGPrints’ rotary screen printing solutions cover every process step: retrofittable RSI (Rotary Screen Integration) units perform seamlessly inline with other processes; non-woven nickel re-engraveable RotaMesh and reusable RotaPlate screens offer durability and stability at up to 330 fpm (100 m/m); a workbench provides live prepress demonstrations.
