Daco exhibits line of rotary diecutters


Capable of extremely quick jobs setups, the modular PLD350 allows for a versatile converting line to be configured.

Daco is featuring at Labelexpo its PLD350 rotary diecutter with semi-automatic turret rewinder. Touted as being capable of extremely quick jobs setups, the machine is of modular construction allowing for a versatile converting line to be configured. The PLD350 has 13.75” (350mm) web width and can run at speeds up to 492 fpm (150m/min). 

For short runs the Daco DTD250 rotary diecutter is ideal for plain label production. Also in display at the show, the DTD has a very short web path enabling short runs to be produced profitably/ This makes the machine great for manufacturing labels with high value materials, Daco says. It has a 10” (250mm) web width and rund at 492 fpm as well. The DTD250 is said to be an ideal solution for the manufacure of plain/blank labels.

Also on the Daco stand is the DP250 digital inkjet platform, manufactured in conjunction with Inkjet Solutions. The DP250 / DP350 is available as a mono or CMYK system with a host of options which include rotary diecutting, semi-rotary diecutting, flexographic module, pre-coating module and turret rewinding options.
