Epson SurePress L-4033 exceeds 200 worldwide installations


Launched in 2010, the press was Epson’s first entry into the digital label market.

Epson announced at Labelexpo over 200 SurePress L-4033 digital label press units have been installed worldwide, more than doubling sales since 2014. Installed in various locations around the world, from Japan to Italy to the United States, with varying business demands, the SurePress L-4033 delivers excellent print quality, accurate color reproduction and innovative printing features, allowing prime label converters and commercial printers to expand their service offerings and improve profitability.

Epson launched the SurePress L-4033A in 2010 and introduced the L-4033AW with White ink in 2012. Epson continues to enhance the product's performance on the basis of ongoing discussions with customers, building up a strong sales and service networks worldwide.

The SurePress L-4033 is an easy-to-operate digital label press that makes high-quality, short run label printing easier and more efficient. It achieves enhanced color reproduction on a wide variety of label substrates and prints on a range of off-the-shelf substrates with no pre-coating required. Printing up to 13" wide and at speeds up to 16 fpm, SurePress leverages Epson’s leading MicroPiezo inkjet technology and SurePress AQ industrial-quality, water-based pigment ink that produces a remarkable range of colors for impressive, professional and consistent results.
