09.25.18

The company is dedicated to working closely with industry press, ink and die manufacturers.

Mactac is showcasing its advanced label solutions throughout Labelexpo Americas 2018, displaying products in Mactac booth #143 and several other exhibitor booths.

Mactac’s PSA-coated papers and films, which are available in roll-to-roll form and various weights and thicknesses, textures, colors and opacity levels and conformability/rigidity ranges, can be found in hundreds of label applications.

“To further showcase our advanced label technology, we’ve partnered with industry leaders to visually show converters and other Labelexpo 2018 attendees how Mactac’s high-quality, high-performance solutions successfully meet diverse label application needs,” says Allie Braham, marketing manager, Mactac Performance Adhesives Group.

In addition to Mactac booth #143, Mactac label solutions are being featured in the following exhibitor booths:

Booth #121: INX International is featuring Mactac’s Durascan TL1701 3.0-mil matte thermal transfer film. TL1701 features a quick tack permanent adhesive and a 2.4-mil semi-bleached super calendared kraft liner. The entire construction converts and prints on wider webs and higher speeds than typical adhesive-coated papers, the company says.

Booth #129: RotoMetrics is playing a looping video featuring the converting characteristics of Mactac’s Chill AT adhesive. Chill AT is an all-temperature solution (-65 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit) that is specially formulated for demanding cold temperatures. It converts easily, sticks quickly and stays in place as needed, working exceptionally well on low-surface energy substrates commonly used in the packaging of refrigerated and frozen foods, meat and poultry, cheese, and corrugate labeling.

Booth #728: Xeikon is running Mactac’s UVP2602 label solution, which is a 2.6-mil satin matte top-coated white UV inkjet polypropylene film that features the 640 AT all-temperature acrylic adhesive. The adhesive is known to perform in both cold and damp environments, as well as elevated temperatures.

Booth #5721: Konica Minolta is featuring Mactac’s VIVID PJ9502 2.6-mil top-coated Label-Lyte white polypropylene film and AC9502 semi-gloss products. PJ9502 is an easy-to-print white film with a high performance general-purpose permanent acrylic adhesive, accompanied by a 2.4-mil super calendared kraft liner. AC9502 is a bright, white semi-gloss coated sheet with exceptional ink receptivity and high internal strength characteristics for high speed printing and converting. It features a general-purpose permanent adhesive and a 2.4-mil semi-bleached super calendared kraft liner.

Booth #6423: Screen is highlighting Mactac’s AP9002 Majestic Matte Litho, which encompasses a 60# high-quality, bright, white matte litho facestock and a general-purpose, quick tack permanent hot melt adhesive. It also has a 2.4-mil semi-bleached super calendared kraft liner. The entire construction converts and prints on wider webs and higher speeds than typical rubber-based adhesive coated papers and offers outstanding print quality and diecutting, Mactac adds.

“Mactac is dedicated to working closely with industry press, ink and die manufacturers, and we’re excited to share first-hand how our products perform on various print technologies,”
Braham says.
